First, and of course, this is a digital download—paid, not free—which shies away from more-regular teaching products. Author Tony Waters claims you will spend only around 8 weeks to master the tricks in book—which includes tricks of old and newer, unseen ones. The teaching methods he used can be classified as semi-advanced, which are easy to understand even if you are a newbie, aimed at advanced skaters who can learn at a faster rate.

The book contains 140 plus pages divided into two sections. The first section is a catalog of the tricks with its popular names and basic overviews. The second part discusses in detail said tricks and contains tips on how to successfully pull them off, with basic starter guides for first-attempt skaters. Secrets of Skateboarding Review

First of all, who is this Tony Waters dude? Or is that just a play on Tony Hawk? It is not my intention to rant or bash this "book" but it sounds like its history has been made up. I have long been looking for a free download of this but to no avail. However, I will still give this product a fair review.

Even with its shady history and background, the ebook is still filled with real tricks and real tips to complete such tricks. There are no new tricks here, as any skateboarder will tell you, every trick in the skateboarding world has been accounted for and unofficially cataloged.

So, to me, its seems that the creators of this book got a hold of every skateboarding material they could (and maybe even interviewed a bunch of skaters) and compiled to form a legit product.

So to me, except of course for the slight bashing at first, this book is not a total scam. There are stuff you can learn from here—good tips and tricks, and nearly every trick "in the book."
